The Battle of Cape St Vincent is the first of Nelson’s famous disobediences, but it isn’t his first disobedience.  His actions were already animated by his dedication to serve his King and to destroy the French.

The Royal Navy finds itself heavily outnumbered by the Spanish ships of the line, but that won’t stop Jarvis.
